Too often the memory of that best drive of the season wanes in the intervening months; now you can enjoy the thrill of sustained shooting, recreating that perfect drive where everything went over you, and practice for the next time the opportunity comes along.

Simulated Game Shooting is one of the most exciting recent developments in the shooting world in the last decade, allowing guns the opportunity to shoot a large number of birds without the ethical qualms many of us have over big bags. However those on offer elsewhere in the country tend to be almost as expensive as game shooting itself.

Through our custom designed set up, network of oscillating and static Promatic automatic traps, and a timed sequence control unit, we are able to offer a wide variety of targets from high driven Pheasant to driven Partridge, or if you would prefer, re-create a Grouse drive at a fraction of the cost of the real thing.
We are able to tailor packages to suit your needs, so if you are just after a couple of hours of furious shooting of an evening or a full day shooting thousands of targets we are more than happy to discuss your individual needs.

Although we can tailor a shoot day to suit almost any need, our most popular package for £75.00 will allow a team of eight guns the opportunity to shoot 2400 birds.

Day’s itinerary:
Each team of eight guns draws pegs at the outset, as on any shoot day and then moves off to the first drive. Each drive takes advantage of the natural terrain and the team of guns divides into four–typically the even numbers shoot while the odd numbers load for the first guns. On our standard drives even if you have never found the need for a loader before, we strongly advise one! If you feel you have enough experience, clients wishing to shoot double guns are more than welcome to do so.

Each drive usually last between 10 and 15 minutes after which the whistle is blown and the guns and loaders will swap. Given that you will have shot at around 400 birds you will, we hope, grasp the opportunity to load for, and enjoy your colleague rising to the same challenge you have just faced. Odd and even numbers will alternate on different drives so that each gun can view the drive they are about to shoot, the variety and difficulty of the birds.

If at the end of your day you feel that you would like to have just one more drive, or if you would like a specific drive again you can choose from a menu of options and for a small supplementary price continue to your hearts content.

Bespoke days:
As well as our own layout, our system is fully mobile and we can set up a bespoke layout on any suitable terrain you may have in mind. If you like the idea of hosting your own Simulated Game Shoot all our equipment is fully insured and available for hire. Please contact us for more details.

Conference centre:
The Links Country Park Hotel and Golf Club: The Runton Suite can seat 200 delegates theatre style, or be divided into smaller areas using removable soundproof walls.

A full range of A/V equipment is available, including flip charts, TV monitors, video recorders, overhead projectors, large screen TV, projector screen, fax and photocopying machines and a sophisticated ‘working wall’.

The hotel can offer 49 rooms, a combination of Singles, Doubles, Twin and Family rooms. The hotel has its own car park for approximately 100 cars.
