Located near Northampton we have near Podington a nicely laid out simulated shoot area of immense beauty and full of wild life, etc. Mr Dax Miller the owner has designed a fabulous testing course which will trial anyone’s skills there are lakes for fishing here Coarse only but instruction can be given to clients with a STANIC national Instructor as well as instruction in shooting which we think is critical for new persons to shooting before they start to shoot targets.

Day’s Itinerary:

• 9.30 am: set of for the first drive.
• 10.00 am: Start shooting the first drives medium birds to warm up with.
• 11.45 am: 3 drives are taken in and a break for a drink and a snack, and refilling of cartridge bags will be needed.
• 1.00 pm: Guns to small lodge for lunch.
• 2.15 pm: Return for an afternoons shooting which consists of 2 drives / or you may decide to have casting tuition or fish for carp on the fly.
• 4.30 pm: tea and cakes to finish of the day.

Cartridges can be purchased on site and rods will be provided for the fishing if required.

During the day a minimum of 4000 cartridges will be fired so please budget £40.00 for 250 cartridges.

Fishing lakes available:
Yes coarse fishing only but a lake can be set aside for casting instruction by a professional instructor and carp on the fly is highly recommended!
